Because of that, as you get older it becomes more important to stay hydrated with the right type of water – water that helps minimize the effects of acid, helps remove toxins, and easily hydrates your body. Water in its most natural state has several important characteristics such as: a high alkaline pH, active hydrogen, and a negative oxidation reduction potential, also known as ORP, which

Strong acidic water (pH of 2.7 or less) is oxidizing or cleansing. Use it for first aid, for hand-washing, and for cleaning.
Mild acidic water with a pH of 4.5 to 5.5 is astringent. Use it for skin and hair care, and general cleaning purposes to remove stains and clean glass.
Filtered, non-ionized water maintains same pH as source tap water. Use it for taking prescription drugs and making baby formula.
4 pH levels of – 8.5, 9.0, 9.5 and 10.0 –have a negative electrical charge, reduced surface tension, alkaline buffers and improved absorption. Use it for drinking or to make coffee or tea, or to cook with.
Strong alkaline water – 10.0 to 11.5 pH – is used for washing fruits and vegetables and general household cleaning. It is good for removing oil residue and grime from cooking surfaces, and for laundry or dish washing.

Designed by the inventor who holds the first water ionization engine patent, it does not require numerous plates or membranes and square inches of surface area does not apply, as they do in conventional plate ionization units.
- While conventional units require a low flow rate to maximize ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential), Elevate pH Max with Direct Disk Ionization (DDI) Technology™ can achieve the same ORP levels at a higher flow rate.
- A patented constant power output design monitors the TDS level of the source water and automatically adjusts accordingly to maintain a constant pH level.
- The Elevate pH Max is designed to operate in low or high TDS areas, even with the TDS is in the thousands.
- Accidental use of hot water will not harm the unit as there are no membranes.
- A unique water-cooled power supply allows for continual operation without risk of ever overheating. Most conventional plate ionizers can only operate for a limited period of time before they must be shut off in order to cool down.
- The Direct Disk Ionization Technology and constant power output design produce ionized water with the least amount of electrical energy needed. Similar to a compact fluorescent lightbulb which uses less energy for the same amount of light output as an incandescent bulb, The Elevate pH Max is a more efficient use of energy than conventional plate units.
